Position: SEEDMAGAZINE.COM Online Intern
Office: New York
Department: Content
Report to: Managing Editor
Description:
The Online Intern will work closely with the SEEDMAGAZINE.COM editorial team in production of daily content and maintaining the website.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate materials between Art and Editorial departments for production and publication of daily content, including articles, multimedia projects (slideshows, video, audio), and the Daily Zeitgeist
* Assist in obtaining and clearing rights for images
* Maintain website, keep all pages and departments updated, and rebuild back content
Qualifications:
* Related experience maintaining website either manually or through a custom CMS
* Fluent in basic HTML, image preflighting, Photoshop, and web image formats
* Demonstrated interest in science journalism and/or online magazine publishing
* Experience with ExpressionEngine a plus
* Must be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment
* Use own computer in office and remotely
* Compensation: Monthly Stipend |
